checkmp3 software package provides Identify MP3s that do not follow the MP3 format, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install checkmp3
checkmp3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the checkmp3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep checkmp3 *
You will get with checkmp3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
